Sesame Street’s 40 Anniversary

Sesame Street, the classic children’s show featured on PBS, is celebrating it’s 40th anniversary today!

And Google has decided to join them in their celebration with a Google doodle on the homepage of Google.com.

I know that I grew up watching sesame street, and my kids are now doing the same thing!  What a classic show for kids who are at home during the morning hours, especially during summer.

What’s always facinated me with Sesame Street is the guests they bring on the show.  They are always able to book the biggest names in sports and entertainment to make guest appearances.

Great job Google for recognizing such a classic children’s show!
