F’acebook Anti Virus Scam – ‘notice the mispelling’
Another nasty little Facebook scam to watch for is called the “F’acebook Anti Virus Scam” – the thing to notice here is the misspelling of Facebook with an apostrophe after the “F”.
A Facebook user named Simone Tunzi said this about the scam:
“their is one called f’acebook antivirus got the message today. Ignored because of the spelling of facebook is the obvious… but some friends did install it I see and now I am being spammed by their messages on my home page every 2 seconds…. and it is tagging their friends including me to pics !”
