NBA Finals: Lakers Take Game 3 in Boston

The Los Angeles Lakers are 8-0 in the playoffs when holding opponents under 100 points and they did just that by holding the Boston Celtics to just 84 points in game 3 of the NBA finals. Kobe Bryant led all scorers with 29 points, but it was Derek Fisher who closed out the game by scoring 11 of his 16 points in the 4th quarter. The Celtics’ Ray Allen followed up a record setting performance by going 0-13 and scoring only 2 points. However, Kevin Garnett did show up last night by scoring 25 points to lead Boston. It just seemed as though the Celtics were waiting on Rajon Rondo to bail them out and it never happened. This was a serious gut check game and L. A. prevailed. This series will go down to the wire with the Los Angeles Lakers winning in seven games. This series is entertaining because a different guy steps up every night, but expect superstar Kobe Bryant to will L. A. to victory. I would also like to put out an A. P. B for Paul Pierce, the Celtics can’t win this series without you!
