Since Saturday, Spirit Airlines flights have been canceled. The Spirit pilots represented by the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) went on strike Saturday after contract negotiations with U.S. mediation has failed to bridge differences on wages and flight scheduling between pilots and the company. Spirit Airlines said on Tuesday that it would extend flight cancellations through Thursday as a pilot union strike continued.
