LSU Defeats Texas A&M 41 to 24 in the Cotton Bowl Classic

Texas A&M scored first and forced LSU to stay focused and stay focused they did.   The LSU Tigers are known as a strong running team and tonight they showed why.  LSU had more than 285 yards on the ground and more than 426 yards in total offense against Texas A&M.

However, the real story here was the LSU defense and particularly their freshman secondary.  The LSU secondary had 4 interceptions on the night.  LSU is now 5 and 1 in bowl games under head coach Les Miles.
