It’s a winter wonderland here in the Atlanta area with over 5 inches of snow falling, and more in some of metro Atlanta areas.
Because of the snow storm, Delta airlines says that it has cancelled nearly all of its flights out of and in into Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport on Monday.
The total number of flights cancelled by Delta Airlines is 1,450 – this according to USA Today.
This number is in addition to the nearly 500 Delta and Delta Connection flights that were canceled on Sunday night due to snow and icy conditions in the Atlanta area.
Delta is waiving all re-booking fees for passengers who’s flights were cancelled.
