Google’s Motorola Mobility Deal Is All About Competing With Apple

It’s clear that every software and hardware company on the planet is sitting, staring, and drooling over the unprecedented success of Apple.

No company in the history of this planet has ever had the level of success that Apple has seen since 2007 with the first iPhone hit the market.

The combination punch of hardware and software development, bringing products to the market that are literally designed and developed from the ground up, is the business model of choice.

And it’s for this very reason that Google spent $12.5 billion to acquire Motorola Mobility.  This is the largest acquisition by far that Google has ever made.  And it goes to show the steps that a company will take in order to compete, and also to follow the leadership, of a company like Apple.

The world is in awe of Apple, and every hardware and software company on the planet is trying to find a way to mimmick Apple’s success.
