This week, Apple announced the release of its newest product, the “iPad.” You may have heard.
As with any large purchase – because, let’s be honest, even $500, the price of the cheapest iPad model, is still quite a chunk of change – your average consumer has to ask the question of why he or she wants this product. What few critics are realizing is the decision is even harder for the Apple user who has almost all of the trimmings of the iPad on one of Apple’s now myriad other devices. Why do I – or anyone – want this product?

As you probably know by now, Apple announced their highly anticipated iPad. And even though we are still about 3 months from the release date, Apple is starting their aggressive marketing campaign with an official iPad website. The iPad website provides in depth information about the device, applications, and capabilities. It also shows the starting price of $499.
Along with the official iPad website, the Apple iPad team put together their official iPad demo video so that you can get a better feeling for what this device offers.
Here’s the official iPad demo video from Apple:

The latest product from Apple called the iPad was announced today by Steve Jobs at an “invite only” news conference. Along with the news of the iPad comes news that Apple will stick with AT&T as the sole provider for 3G data packages.

We aren’t even 3 full days into the introduction of the Apple iPad, and already the Apple is facing criticism, bleak reviews, and perhaps even litigation. Does all of this make sense, especially with the fact that the iPad was referred to by Steve Jobs (founder and CEO of Apple) as “the most important thing I’ve ever done!” Here are 2 major obstacles and criticisms facing Apple and the iPad.

The Apple news conference today is the going to be the biggest news of the day. And as you probably know by now, the Apple iPad is expecting to be the big announcement. So I’ve gone ahead and built a custom Apple iPad Twitter stream right here so that you can follow the news and discussion as it happens on Twitter! This live stream will give you second by second content about what’s happening with the Apple Table, and the Apple news conference.

The hype and energy leading up to last week’s iPad news conference was quite possibly one of the biggest web promotion events of the century. However, it only took a day or so for the negative reviews to stream onto the web. And here we are about to hit 1 week since the iPad news conference and there has been no slowing down of the anti-iPad rhetoric. But in my opinion, all of this “negativity” might just be the kind of marketing the iPad needs to be successful.
How in the world can all of this negative publicity be good for the iPad? C’mon, it’s Apple we’re talking about here…

Will we have an official Apple Tablet announcement at the super secret Apple press conference? The Apple Tablet has been the talk of the town in tech circles, and people have been speculating the release of an Apple Tablet for well over a year now.
Well tomorrow may be the day that everyone’s been waiting for. Although Apple will not disclose what will be announced tomorrow at the press conference, everyone is expecting to hear only 2 words: Apple Tablet!
So stay tuned and let’s see what happens tomorrow at the press conference – will we actually get the much anticipated Apple Tablet announcement?

Seth Godin is without a doubt my most anticipated blog to read each day. Today was a great article from Seth about how he is wanting to be the first person to launch a application for the new (much anticipated) Apple Tablet. Even though, as of right now, we don’t even know if there is going to be an Apple Tablet.
Here’s what Seth wrote in his blog this morning:
