Sesame Street’s 40 Anniversary
Sesame Street, the classic children’s show featured on PBS, is celebrating it’s 40th anniversary today!
And Google has decided to join them in their celebration with a Google doodle on the homepage of Google.com.

Yesterday, Google recognized the 40th anniversary of the children’s show Sesame Street with a custom Google Logo.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to write about this yesterday, but Google continued it’s celebration of Sesame Street for a 4th straight day.
Oscar the Grouch was the theme yesterday, November 7th, on the Google logo.

Elmo is the feature today for the Google Logo.
I’m not sure as if I’ve ever seen Google so passionate about a recognizing something before.

Count Dracula Google Logo
Google takes it to day 6 with it’s celebration of Sesame Street’s 40th anniversary by showing a Count Dracula Google logo.
For the past 6 days now, Google has been recognizing the classic children’s show with custom Google logos. These logos have not only been up for the past 6 days, but they remain for a full 24 hours each day.
This is quite possibly the most recognition that Google has ever given from the homepage of the Google.com.

Final Day of Sesame Street Celebration?
It’s been 7 straight days now that Google has been recognizing the 40th Anniversary of Sesame Street with their logo.
As I’ve mentioned since about day 3, this is the longest running recognition campaign I can remember ever seeing on Google.
I’m guessing today is the last day because the logo now shows all of the Sesame Street characters – as opposed to just individual characters like the previous 6 days as shown.
