I have no doubt Adobe and alot of users would like it. I doubt it will ever be allowed because the appstore would loose alot of revenue if everyone are using free flash apps.

The iPad runs the iPhone OS. No Flash on the iPhone OS means no Flash on devices that run the iPhone OS. This is very simple to understand. Here is something else that I'm sure will perplex you. The iPhone OS is not the only mobile OS that does not run Flash. Not everyone wants nor needs Flash enabled devices.
