How do you think any event about a SOFTWARE upgrade… is instead… going to announce new Verizon hardware?

Dont get it twisted I got word from a VZW device tech that this is in fact in the works, but VZW lawyers and Apple lawyers are still intensely in the debate between each other to allow this phone to run on VZW. Why? because of the same issue you see ATT going thru, and because Uncle Jobs doesnt want to limit his most prized money making possession……I'd bet when VZW's 4g network drops then you will see an IPHONE for now, dont get your hopes up. if it does show it will be miraculous

2. plus a huge customer base curious to get their hands on the device is a big problem. Your talking about millions of your customer base converting from one rinky dink 3g device to another device able to do 10 times more. Let alone at that , imagine the migration from blackberry, samsung, LG devices, and HTC devices to one APPLE product. Man your asking for a problem in your metropolitan areas.

3. Allowing yourself to be controlled to the terms of Apple is a bit much. You sacrificed network quality for a product that no other carrier would have….

4. thus bring us to point 4. The point proven as to why you see VZW running a relentless advertising campaign, as funny and maybe as popular as their "CAN YOU HERE ME NOW" commercials.

VZW rejected it for good reason in the beginning, Steve Jobs wanted control and cuts from the profit in regards to this device. Apple did not want to allow the phone to be limited in any way. The same company that keeps a tight lid on the inner workings, the app store, and true power of this device….they just didnt want to allow the phone to be tested and limited in any way by VZW. For good reason, every phone goes thru a battery of tests in vzw to make sure the device and network run optimally at all times, around the country. And VZW will limit a phones data connection, test what type of data the phone sends, if inner functions work correctly, calls are clear coming and going…everything you can imagine to make sure their customers have a good cell connection.

Well then what happened with AT&T? I guess they skimped out on things and decided that Subscribers and profit from this device was important and that their network can never be bogged down. WRONG? a few fatal errors at best:
1. You have apple fanatics in US numbering the millions. 300 or 700k of those nuts running data like crazy downloading music would do it it in to any carrier.

Doubt it……Thats not happening anytime this year. I'd be more surprised if an iphone 4g is announced for SPRINT. For Verizon, the device itself and its capabilities is a big responsibility. The devices natural behaviour is to be an IPOD deep down. And that my friends translates to massive data usage, e.g. translating into a network headache for AT&T. You know things play out in funny ways in regards to competition. The device rejected by VZW, god know what happened with sprint if they were ever offered, but ATT took it on. And look now, somewhat of a headache.
