Bah. Now the shipping date is July 19. Five days ago it was July 14. I don't think these guys have got it handled at all. Maybe the Incredible will be shipped early in 2011?

Now I am reading that the data plan is 36. or 39.00 dollars. Has anyone else heard this for the data package they are going to offer for the Incredible! Don't they get enough at 29.99 I hope this is not true for those of us that are so awaiting for this phone. That would be disappointing!

In reply to Ceelove. I agree with you completely. Unfortunately for us, Verizon HQ will most likely do whatever they think will make them the most money. On that note, there is probably some lazy Verizon marketing CO drinking coffee reading news paper in his corner office high-rise and doesn't realize his in-box is full with his managers asking him when the best release time is. Its all a chain of command, and Verizon isn't known for having most on the ball organization...

Unfortunately, 4/19 is probably a clearance or sale- but we can only cross our fingers.

I think that the 5/13 date is more accurate. Best Buy will probably start selling the Incredible on 4/29 but the Verizon retail stores will start carrying the Incredible on May 13. When the Moto Devour came out, it was sold only at Best Buy for about 2 weeks and then Verizon retail stores started carrying it. The same will probably follow suit with the 2 stores regarding the Incredible. In my opininion, as BADLY as I want the phone, the Incredible is gonna compete with the EVO 4G for Sprint and that comes out 6/13. Verizon may want to be as close to that date as possible. Other posts have showed that the Droid Eris' shelf life ends the end of May. If the Incredible is going to replace the Eris, that's good timing.

I asked a Verizon rep at a stand alone retail store if he could check his system for any info – he said that the info on his computer had 4/29 as a release date but also stated that they never know anything until about a day or so before and get the actual info through an email…

Definitely something happening on the 19th. Was at Verizon 4/09 and sales person says something is happening that day but they don't know what is going on. They don;t know if it is a sale or new equipment,

The 4/29 release date was for Best Buy, not necessarily for all VZW retailers. The authenticity of that memo was confirmed by multiple sources over at Android Forums. Those sources have access to Verizon infodocs/infomanager and other resources. There is a copy of the same memo in the Verizon system. Further, multiple Best Buy sources also confirmed the info, including screen shots showing an in-stock date of 4/25 and a launch date of 4/29.

If your source is both legit and correct, different retail channels will likely launch the phone on different days, but that does not mean the 4/29 date is wrong.
