P.S. You're not a horrible person. Just a horrible journalist. You could have done a Google Image search using Lebron's name and one of the other players in the pic and in a matter of seconds it would have pulled up several versions of that photo, all linking you to the 2008 articles.

I mean the image fit to a tee – and I really didn’t know any better or any different.

The image made me think it was actually related to the Gloria James and Delonte West affair rumors because:

1) The news about the affair broke while Lebron and Cleveland were playing the Boston Celtics in their playoff series.

2) The rumor involved Gloria James – Lebron’s mother (who was in the image with Lebron and the Boston Celtic’s players.

So I saw the image and assumed (incorrectly) that this was Lebtron trying to attack his mother over the Delonte West rumors.

When this story ends up being true?!? How much of an idiot can you be? The problem people had was not with the story itself (about the alleged affair), but about the entire purpose of the article, which was to tie a two-year-old photo to the alleged rumor of the affair. So get your facts straight before you start being all sanctimonious.
