We are matter. The we or us is a word or abstract labeling system we have in talking about "things" but the "things" we observe are atomic constructs that change form due to nuclear fusion from stars.

What this discovery at CERN is about, are the quarks that make up the atom after it is smashed. Why matter (us and everything in the universe) and not anti-matter being dominant? We have discovered the two quarks responsible and their behavior.

To stop at the slant of "I know why we exist since I was a kid, which is implying a make believe supernatural being that created everything" was a cop out and a true bias in this article.

Stop taking it beyond what the discovery meant, which was a discovery of "why matter exists" and "how it came to be." – God doesn't have to be glorified in all of this. Its just a natural explanation of our world to discover these things to create new technologies to benefit us.
