					<description><![CDATA[Having lived in Pensacola for 16 years up until Hurricane Ivan devastated the area and employment, I never questioned the position that Floridians took in opposing off shore drilling. Pensacoa Beach has been nearly destroyed by Opal, Ivan and Dennis. However, their impact is miniscule compared to the years that it will take for the beach to recover. Sand dunes and sea oats will do precious little to protect the environment from the oil. ]]></description>
