Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in United States announced six safest cars. All cars fully entered the sport utility vehicle segment (SUV).

In IIHS testing, the six received the Top Safety Pick. Tests conducted a hit-test from the front, side and rear of the vehicle. In addition, the vehicle roof strength in a rolled position in case of accident.
Other vehicles tested are, Ford Edge, Crosstour Honda Accord, Honda Pilot, Mazda CX-7, Mitsubishi Endeavor and Nissan Murano at the second positioned just under six best brand. In addition, the Jeep Liberty and Dodge Nitro are not able to grip between the sixth safest products.
All six cars will be merged with other models previously obtain the same predicate are, the Dodge Journey, Lexus RX, Subaru Tribeca, Volvo XC60, and XC90 SUV in the mid segment.
