As part of their continuing effort to focus on security, Facebook announced one-time passwords today for use on public computers. So when you are out at a cafe, conference, hotel, or airport, and you are skittish about using your real password to login to Facebook, now you can get a one-time password that will protect your current session.

To use one-time password feature for Facebook, simply text “otp” to 32665 on your mobile phone. You will then receive a text message that contains your password. You’ll only be able to use this password once, and it will expire in 20 minutes. And of course, in order for you to use the one-time password feature, you’ll need a mobile phone associated with your Facebook profile.
