Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook’s co-founder, CEO and president, announced today that he plans on giving away the majority of his fortune to charity. According to Mark Zuckerberg, “People wait until late in their career to give back. But why wait when there is so much to be done? People wait until late in their career to give back. Zuckerberg is currently ranked #36 on Forbes 400 list of Richest Americans with an estimated net worth of $6.9 billion.
Earlier this year, on September 23rd, Mark Zuckerberg gave away $100 million to support the Newark, New Jersey’s eroding school districts.
