Era of Farve Ends in Detroit

Bret Farve started in the NFL in Week 4 of 1992. Since then this iron man has had a record setting 297 consecutive regular season game starts until tonight.  Farve started playing in the NFL before these new rules that protect quarterbacks as much as they do today.  He has proved his toughness over the years.  According to some of his former teammates Farve is noted for saying that “one of your best abilities is availability.”

Without Farve the Vikings put on a very poor showing and lost to the Giants  in Detroit 21 – 3.
