Microsoft Updates Start Menu, Interface, Mail App in New Windows 10 Technical Preview Build

As the final release date of Microsoft’s inches closer, the Redmond giant is speeding up its build release spree. Today, the company has launched a build version 10061 for Windows 10 Technical Preview. There are loads of new features introduced in this build. The best one is the new Outlook app. There are new swipe gesture, third party mail clients support, interface tweaks and much more. You could easily swipe left-right and delete, create and edit your emails on the new Outlook app for Windows 10. Microsoft has also given Office 365 integration in the new email app which will make things much easier for you if you are a power user who shares, creates documents aggressively.

Microsoft has also tweaked its Calendar app. There is a three-pane integration which lets you switch between mail and calendar for planning. You can add charts, tables, layers and text using Microsoft Word features in the new release.

Microsoft has also nudged the most important areas of the Windows 10 interface like Start, Taskbar and Action Center. You can now resize and customize the start menu and action center according to your choice. There is a new system black theme for Windows 10 in the new build release.

Windows 10 build 10061 also brings improved switching dynamics if you want to quickly change the interfaces for mobile, tablet and desktop.

We all just can’t wait to get our hands on Windows 10, which will definitely be a great experience to use.
