No, you do not get to keep your current data plan. You have to select from one of the new limited data plans. If you decide to keep your current phone and plan and make no changes, then you are grandfathered.

I have a question. When do you have to pay for your new iPhone 4 if you pre-order? Do you pay when you place the order, or on the 24th? Does apple give you an expected time of arrival and tracking number when you pre-order?

Per AT&T Customer Service, and we know sometimes they don’t know what they’re talking about, they claim that you’re “grandfathered” in if you have unlimited data now.

You know how if you are a new AT&T customer, you get 30 days' trial before you are penalized for terminating your contract? Do you suppose this 30 day trial would start the day your phone is in hand, the day it ships, or the day you preorder?
