Hi – no, it is not ok to put Adsense in the new iFrame tab on your Facebook Fan Page. This would be in violation of Facebook’s policy of running third party ads networks on the Facebook platform.

Hi, Is it ok to put Adsense in the iFrames? I just want to make sure it’s not against the FB TOS, I was trying to read it online and couldn’t find anything..

Any thoughts? Did you see specific wording on this or if it’s not there, we are good?

Thanks for the info. While working on a switch from FBML to iframes I read the terms on Facebook Developer Rights and Responsibilities ) and they say: “You will not show third party ads or web search boxes on Facebook.” Wouldn’t this mean it is against the Facebook Terms to display Google ads or the like?

I would say no because you have to actually know how to create Facebook apps – which means you need a developers account, etc…

MySpace has templates that can be easily implemented.

This is great news, but do you think the new flexibility with Page design will lead to MySpace-ian clutter and disorganization on Facebook Pages?
