Did iPhone ban Fortnite from its App Store, leaving thousands of players without their favorite game? The conflict started after a Fortnite latest update. It let players buy in-game currency at a lower rate if they bought directly from maker Epic Games.

Those who have already downloaded Fortnite on iOS are still able to access the game. You can still play Season 3, but your opponents will be limited to fellow Apple players.

Alex King, a computer science student installed Windows 10 Boot Camp in his new 12-inch MacBook, and used it for a month.

US companies are facing regulatory problems from Europe after Edward Snowden, the whistle-blower from the US intelligence services claimed that the US government is spying the Europe through its tech companies. Amazon also launched its native data center for Europe.

Xiaomi showcased an event in the US today and said that the company will launch an online store in the US later this year. Hugo Barra, the vice president of Xiaomi and the only man because of which the company went up in the software and hardware domain accepted that Xiaomi will have to go through a lot to challenge Apple on its turf.

Barra is the man behind Android. When He left Google and joined Xiaomi, which was almost nothing at that time (2013), experts were skeptical about the sensibility of Barra’s decision. But within 2 years, Barra’s experience, talent and skills made Xiaomi the juggernaut of cellphone sales in Asia. It’s perfect Apple like hardware and Android like software has imbibed millions of users across the world.

Back in China, Xiaomi business has surged with huge success. It sold 150,000 phones in 10 minutes, shipped 940,000 devices each day in the busy season. But Xiaomi is not even close to Apple when it comes to the US market.

Xiaomi said in a statement that it has no plans to launch its phones in the US for now. It is in talks with the US authorities regarding NFC payment regulations. The move is seen as an attempt to enter the US market and increase adaptation and learn business dynamics of the local market. If Xiaomi could deliver quality products in affordable prices, it could give a tough time to Apple.

This doesn’t end here. Today, a new report has been published in which Apple has claimed that many of the Tesla employees are ‘jumping the ship’ to get hired in Apple. The company said that Apple’s projects are ‘too exciting’ for Tesla employees. Apple went on to say that Apple’s upcoming projects will make Tesla ‘run for its money’.

According to CNBC, Morningstar analysts have claimed that Apple’s main tussle with Tesla might come in the domain of connected, autonomous cars. Apple’s latest iOS updates have clear features of connected cars. It has also rolled out Car Play feature for iPhones. Tesla on the other hand is the pioneer in electric cars.

The experts think that the competition between Apple and Tesla is not to the scale of Apple VS Google wars but in future, both corporate giants might fight for consumer share in the Internet of Things domain.

Many reports have also rejected the notion which argued that Apple might be making a new smart car. The source added that mapping services and car software might be the only domain where Apple is interested. It is neither interested in making a new car nor will it be lucrative for Apple at this moment.

Brian Blair, managing director at Rosenblatt Securities thinks that the era of smart cars is upon us and Apple has spotted a huge potential in Tesla made cars, that’s why it is interested to extend this endeavors of smart cars.

Apple has recently posted a job opening for “Apple Search” expert. While there is quite a possibility that this job posting is for Apple’s internal search engines used in its vast repositories and connected data servers, the chance of an upcoming new project related to search cannot be ignored.

The job posting clearly states that program manager is needed to manage the back-end servers of a search program that is designed for “hundreds of millions of users”. Big Data is also listed as a preferable skill for this job.

Naturally the creator of the highly successful and incredibly addicting game, Flappy Birds, has surprised critics and players with his latest creation, Swing Copters, a game he has just released on IOS and android devices.

Vietnamese developer, Dong Nguyen, shocked fans earlier this year when he publicly announced his decision to make Flappy Birds unavailable despite its popularity; citing an aversion to the game’s addictive nature. Whether that was a marketing ploy or not, it certainly branded Nguyen as a notable name in app development, skyrocketing him to fame. His name being attached to Swing Copters alone could explain its sudden rise to the 12th most popular game in the App Store after having been released only earlier that day. While that theory is likely, the game is also getting praise from critics and players as fun, addictive and visually reminiscent of its predecessor, Flappy Birds.
