Moreover, Henry voiced Cleveland and his Black stepson, Rallo Tubbs, on the spin-off series “The Cleveland Show”. That show aired on Fox for four seasons from 2009 to 2013.

Seth MacFarlane is a 46-year old American producer and director, actor, working in both animation and live-action, for television and cinema.

MacFarlane is the creator of the TV series Family Guy and the Orville. Furthermore, he is the co-creator of the TV series American Dad! and The Cleveland Show.

Seth MacFarlane provides voices for a handful of characters including Peter Griffin, Stewie Griffin, Brian Griffin and Glenn Quagmire.

Other actors

Mike Henry is now the third voice actor who has stepped down from their mixed-race character.

For decades, Quaker Oats knew that one of its major brands, Aunt Jemima, was built on racist imagery.

The company inched toward fixing the problem over the years. And, replacing the kerchief on the Aunt Jemima character’s head with a plaid headband. Which later adding pearl earrings and a lace collar.

However, it was not until Wednesday that Quaker Oats had an announcement. They will drop the Aunt Jemima name and change the packaging.

They came to the decision to remake the brand due to widespread protests against racism. And, throughout the country that lead to changes in the corporate world.

The company stated it was working to make progress toward racial equality through several initiatives.

Furthermore, the packaging changes will appear toward the end of the year, with the name change to follow.

The founders of the brand hired a former slave, Nancy Green, to portray Aunt Jemima at the 1893 World’s Fair in Chicago.

In recent years, the company considered doing away with the logo. The group that was on the project tossed around many ideas.

They had to be very aware of the broader implications, and what would happen if they got it wrong.

World reaction

Companies like Nike, Twitter, Adidas and Sephora support the protests.

The streaming service HBO Max temporarily removed the 1939 film “Gone With the Wind” from its catalog. That’s because of its glorification of the antebellum South.

In addition, the food and candy giant Mars. The owner of Uncle Ben’s, said it was “evaluating all possibilities”.

Land O’Lakes had started removing stereotypical Native American imagery from many of its products before the recent protests.

Minneapolis news

Police had cleared the 3^rd precinct shortly after 10 p.m., when demonstrators forcibly entered and ignited several fires.

Mayor Jacob Frey decided to pull police out of the precinct, but they still patrolled the community.

Additionally, fires burned on both sides of the police station as demonstrators pushed down temporary fencing and occupied property at the precinct. Other buildings nearby were also burning.

Furthermore, the city of Minneapolis urged people to retreat from the area as a precaution. Minneapolis news reports that gas lines of the 3^rd precinct have been cut and other explosives are in the building.

Police reported there were no serious injuries.

Gov. Tim Walz signed an executive order activating the National Guard. The order was needed after extensive damage to private property occurred and peaceful protests evolved into a dangerous situation for protesters and first responders.

St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter urged people to stay home and not to come to protest. He said to focus on George Floyd, on advancing the movement and on preventing this from ever happening again.

In addition, President Donald Trump blamed local leadership for the unrest and threatening deploy National Guard troops.

Business shutdown and riots

In Minneapolis news about 170 businesses are facing severe damages by vandalism, looting, or fires.

Looters broke into Target and T.J. Maxx.

Metro Transit shut down almost all services. An airport shuttle and its Northstar commuter line were all that remained operational.

Minneapolis news reports that multiple riots have occured in other states.

In New York City, at least 40 people are facing charges by the police.

Minneapolis leaders pleaded for peace.

Protesters should be angry about Floyd’s death in police custody. However, they have no right to perpetrate violence and harm on the very communities that you say you are standing up for.

Authorities are trying everything in order to serve a justice in Floyd’s death whatever the consequences. Police officers need to treat all of our citizens with respect and understanding and should be held to the very highest standards for their conduct.

The Justice Department and the FBI are thoroughly investigating officers who are in the case.

Furthermore, Floyd’s death is a murder by the hand of a police officer. All with pinning Floyd to the ground with a knee on the neck.

“No justice, no peace… I can’t breathe”

The demonstrations had started as peaceful initially, but became extremely dangerous, said Tim Walz, Minnesota Gov.

Moreover, angry protestants have been attacking third police precinct, where 4 police officer worked at, by throwing items and water bottles.

Therefore, police created a barrier outside and used tear gas to break the riots around the precinct.

Opposite from the precinct, there was an AutoZone store in flames, and protestants damaged other stores in close perimeter also.

Considering those events, Tim Walz sent Minnesota National Guard on the streets to look after demonstrations.

What’s more, people are also gathering in Denver and New York to call for justice and show disapproval regarding the death of George Floyd.  

Additionally, in New York, police is arresting around 40 people. Also, some officers were injured, according to CNN.

Suffice to say, “I can’t breathe” and “No justice, no peace” became recognized outcry and a symbol of protest, you can see everywhere.

Anyhow, four officers involved in George’s Floyd murder are going to get fired as soon as possible.

Furthermore, a police officer who directly put his knee on Floyd’s neck should be charged, said Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey.

George Floyd was a peaceful man

According to family, George Floyd was a “gentle giant” and a very peaceful man who wouldn’t hurt anyone.

Namely, George Floyd and the officer who was kneeling on his neck, Derek Chauvin. Both worked at El Nuevo Rodeo Club.

However, it is unclear if they knew each other, said Maya Santamaria. The ex-owner of the club which became a target of outraging protestors.

Furthermore, the family had strongly believed that Derek Chauvin should face a charge for murder, and not surprisingly, that happened.

Therefore, he is getting convicted by third-degree murder and manslaughter in the death of George Floyd.

Further, Mayor Jacob Frey has imposed a curfew that began Friday night and will extend through the weekend.

What’s interesting, President Trump will talk with George Floyd’s family and expressed his condolences. Saying that demonstrations shouldn’t extend into anarchy.

Anyhow, George Floyd became a symbol of the fight for justice amidst police violence. Also, excessive use of force which cost many people their lives.
