Here we go again, tomorrow night it’s UFC 117.

The feature fight is between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen which is sure to be a circus, as are much of Anderson Silva’s fights.

However, he is very difficult to beat.

So is someone wants to stop Silva from all his antics in the octagon, then you simply need  to knock him out.

The weigh in today between Silva and Sonnen has already kicked off the circus show of Anderson Silva.

When the two fighters were brought together, Anderson Silva refused to look Sonnen in the eyes.

So the weigh in became a spectical and of course now the web is buzzing about it.

Coming into UFC 117, Anderson Silva is the heavy favorite over Sonnen.

Some amazing things happened during the UFC 116 fight between Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin. Mostly the fact that Shane Carwin did not actually knock out Lesnar in the first round. The punches from Carwin were raining down on Lesnar and in most fights, I would say that the ref would have actually called the fight. But because it was the heavyweight championship fight, my guess is that the instructions to the ref was to let the fight go until someone was completely unresponsive (knocked out cold) – otherwise, just let them keep fighting.

I’ve been able to find only one place online where you can actually watch the entire fight between Lesnar and Carwin. Unfortunately, the video is not able to be embedded so I can’t put the video here.

Tonight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, UFC 116 went down in what was promoted as the best UFC fight in the history of MMA.

Heavyweights Brock Lesnar and Shane Carwin entered the octagon to settle the undisputed heavyweight championship title and Brock Lesnar came out as the victor.

Brock Lesnar defeated Shane Carwin via submission (arm triangle choke) at 3:52 of the 2nd round to remain the undisputed UFC Heavyweight Champion.

Shane Carwin came into the fight the underdog, and during the UFC 116 pre fight press conference, Carwin acknowledged his underdog status.

Carwin stated that he is used to being plugged as the underdog. And in fact, it’s what makes him (Carwin) fight even harder during his bouts.

However, tonight was not one of those nights where Carwin would come out on top – Brock Lesnar is now, without question or debate, the UFC heavyweight champion. And I’m sure that Shane Carwin acknowledges that fact respectfully as well after being defeated.

The UFC 116 pre fight press conference was a great show of both the respect that the fighters have for each other, but also it showed the intensity from which these fighters want to be champions.

Brock Lesnar is obviously very comfortable in front of the cameras and enjoys cutting up any chance he gets. He is an intense fighter, and it is clear that he is ready to fight.

Shane Carwin takes a more reserved approach during the press conference. He spoke a bit more politically and kept his fight in perspective.

Both Shane Carwin and Brock Lesnar have respect for each other, are ready to fight, and both are determined to walk away with the heavyweight championship belt.

UFC 116 Weigh In – Brock Lesnar vs Shane Carwin Featured Fight

The weigh in for UFC 116 took place today at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. And the featured fight on the UFC 116 ticket was also the featured weigh in today.

Over three thousands MMA fans crowded the arena to cheer on their favorite fighters as they weighed in. And no one was more excited than when Shane Carwin and Brock Lesnar took to the scale.

The UFC 116 fight will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, and can be viewed Saturday night on pay per view and Spike TV broadcasts events.

When Shane Carwin, the interim heavyweight champion, took to the scale the crowd rose to their feet and cheered. However, when it was Brock Lesnar’s turn, the arena instantly filled with boos.

I think it’s clear who the fan’s favorite fighter is.

Finally, the full length fight video of the UFC 115 fight between Chuck Liddell and Rich Franklin is hitting the web in embeddable form. That’s now allowing people like me to share the full length fight with you (see below).

It honestly didn’t take long for Rich Franklin to knock out Chuck Liddell. Liddell was knocked out in the first round. However, as you watch the fight below, you’ll notice that at the time Liddell is knocked out, it appears that Liddell has the advantage and Franklin is hurt. However, Franklin was able to sneek in an upper cut that caught Liddell squarely on the chin and that was enough to knock him out cold.

Regardless of whether the hit was lucky, circumstantial, or otherwise, the point here is that Liddell got knocked out cold by Franklin and the KO goes to Rich Franklin, and unfortunately the loss goes to Chuck Liddell.

Will Chuck Liddell Fight in the UFC again?

Some people are speculating that Chuck Liddell fought his last fight in the octagon in UFC 115. Getting knocked out cold by Rich Franklin might have just been enough for the legend, Chuck Liddell, to hang up the UFC gloves.

I would have to say though that Liddell looked strong during the fight. He gave a couple of brutal kicks to Franklin during the first round. One of the nasty kicks may have actually broke some of Rich Franklin’s ribs as Franklin was clearly in pain after the fight.

Do you think that UFC 115 was Chuck Liddell’s last fight in the UFC octagon?

I’ve been digging around the web trying to a video of last nights Liddell vs Frankly UFC 115 fight and I finally found it.

Liddell got himself knocked out cold by Franklin in the first round of the UFC 115 fight and the hit seemed to come out of nowhere from Franklin. The strike by Franklin, as you can tell from the video, looked to be more a defensive swing as Liddell was starting to lay into him with a flurry of punches.

Earlier in the round, Liddell took Franklin down to the ground by jamming him into the cage. However, it appears that Liddell cut his eye pretty bad from the take down. It looked as though he may have cut his eye on the cage during the takedown.

UFC 115 didn’t even take a full round to decide who the winner was going to be, and ultimately, Franklin came out the winner against Liddell by knocking Liddell out cold.

I never realized this before, and I’m sure someone is going to completely blow me up in the comments, but I found a page on Yahoo Sports that allows you to purchase pay per view UFC fights.

So Yahoo Sports has a UFC PPV (Pay Per View) page – and like I said, you can purchase UFC fights online and watch the fights live right from your computer.

UFC 114 takes place tonight, starting at 7PM PST (10pm EST), at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The only thing that’s unfortunate about ESPN’s MMA Live UFC 114 Weigh-In Show on YouTube is that the embed code has been disabled.  This doesn’t make any sense to me because ESPN would be able to get so much more exposure and distribution if they would enable their embed code from YouTube.

Anyway, like I said this is only complaint I have about ESPN’s MMA Live coverage show. The rest of the show is awesome.

ESPN does a phenomenal job covering the UFC 114 Weigh Ins and pre fight coverage.

Paul Daley Cheap Shot Video (Cheap Shot Video)

Last night’s UFC 113 would have to be one of the better UFC fight nights for your Pay Per View money that have happened in quite a long time. I’ve already written and posted full videos of the video where Shogun Knocks Out Machida and then also the Kimbo Slice vs Matt Mitrione (Fight Video).

Next up is the incident that took place during the Josh Koscheck (WW # 4) vs. England Paul Daley (WW # 8) fight.

You see, Josh Koscheck beat Paul Daley fair and square during the fight, but after the fight was called by the ref, Paul Daley decided to step up and take a cheap shot at Josh Koscheck.

The cheap shot was rather cheap since the fight had already been called in favor of Josh Koscheck, and Koscheck wasn’t even looking when Paul Daley took the cheap shot.

Now there aren’t a whole lot of videos on the web showing the Paul Daley cheap shot but there was a half way decent one of the cheap shot I was able to find.

So here’s Paul Daley taking a cheap shot at Josh Koscheck after getting beat by Koscheck in UFC 113.

Kimbo Slice vs Matt Mitrione (Fight Video)

The heavy weights took to the cage last night with Kimbo Slice, the heavily favored fighter, facing off against Matt Mitrione in Canada during UFC 113.

The fight took 2 rounds to complete and ultimately Matt Mitrione won by the ref stopping the beating that Kimbo Slice was taking from Matt Mitrione.

Kimbo looked like his pride was the only thing keeping him from tapping out and ending the fight – but eventually, the ref took over and stopped the beating.

From the beginning, Kimbo Slice was looking strong during the 1st round. Kimbo appeared to be getting the dominant position and controlling Matt Mitrione. However, toward the end of the 2nd round, Kimbo was tiring – so was Mitrione – but Kimbo was tiring and getting a beating.

Eventually, Kimbo ended up on his back, Matt Mitrione was on top of him just pummeling down punches until eventually, the ref just couldn’t let Kimbo keep getting a beat down like that so he stopped the fight and Matt Mitrione won.

This fight was a great one because #1 it was the heavy weights in the cage and #2 it actually went nearly 2 full rounds – giving the fans in the stadium, and those watching from Pay Per View, their money’s worth.

Shogun Knocks Out Machida (Knock Out Video)

The fight only took 1 round, and Shogun eventually got the better of Machida in the UFC 113 fight that took place in Canada last night. Below you can watch as these 2 highly skilled, and very meticulous fighters worked their way through the first round, with Shogun and Machida exchanging blows, kicks, and take downs.

At any point, it was clear that either Shogun or Machida could very easily have knocked the other out, or quickly gained the advantage with one strike – however, Machida and Shogun exchanged blows for most of the first round.

The situation turned south when Machida looks like he simply got caught with his guard down for only a brief second, however that was enough for Shogun to sneak in a direct hit to the chin, stun Machida and send him to the ground. At that exact moment, Shogun saw the opportunity > pounced on Machida and started a flurry of swings and hits on Machida’s face. From the looks in the video, it only took a couple of direct hits to Machida, and Machida appearing unresponsive to the hits, that the UFC ref stepped in and called the fight off!

UFC 113 Machida vs Shogun 2 Live Knockout Video (Watch Here Now)

UFC 113 featured Machida vs Shogun 2 in a bout which had the #1 light-heavyweight championship title on the line. Whoever came out of UFC 113 the winner would be the new #1 ranked light-heavyweight champion of the world.

The fight between Machida and Shogun 2 went into the 6th round, but ultimately ended in a knockout.

As I mentioned in my previous article on UFC 113 video hitting the web, I said that it wasn’t going to happen unless somebody recorded it from their iPhone and published it on YouTube.

Fight recap:

After several great fights, including the fight facing Matt Mitrione and Kimbo Slice a very good fight, we finally got to the main event of the fight night, a great match facing Lyoto Machida vs. Shogun Rua.

Round 1: The first round started as a balanced fight and the two were just testing out each other. However the balance started to fold on Shogun’s favor and after changing some relay great hits Shogun manage to knock Machida down with a a right hook. After a few more hist Machida just couldn’t take it anymore.

KO: Shogun wins by knock out in 3:35 in Round 1. Shogun promised this knock out and he kept his word.

UFC 113, Machida vs Shogun Weigh Ins (Video)

Tonight marks the night to witness the UFC 113 MMA fights. The stage is set, the fighters are all weighed in and Pay Per View is ready to make millions!

But the problem here is that some of you may have actually missed the UFC 113 weigh ins! But no need to worry because I’ve posted a video of the entire weigh in of all fighters on the UFC 113 fight card.

Here’s UFC 113 weigh in – Machida vs Shogun

Lyoto Machida weighed in at 204 pounds ahead of his light heavyweight championship bout tonight, while his opponent Mauricio “Shogun” Rua weighed just above at 205 pounds. Paul Daley and his opponent Josh Koscheck both weighed the same, at 170 pounds.

The only big difference during the UFC 113 weigh-in results was between Kimbo Slice, and his opponent Matt Mitrione. Kimbo weighed in at 225 pounds, while Matt tipped the scales at 253 pounds.

UFC 113 Live Online Stream – Not Gonna Happen

There are massive amounts of people right now scouring the web trying to find somewhere to watch UFC 113 live stream on the web. I’m telling you right now, there is no way you are going to find it. And the reason is because UFC will not allow anyone vendor to pick up the fight and stream it live on the web.

The only possible way to find this fight streaming live on the web is if someone who paid the Pay Per View, created a UStream show, and broadcast the stream from the iPhone.

If someone did that, then perhaps you could find a live stream of UFC113.

Otherwise, you’ll be hard pressed to find any live video stream of UFC 113.

Unless I’m mistaken

There is the small chance (not being arrogant, just honest) that I’m wrong about the UFC 113 live video stream broadcasting on the web.

And if I am wrong, then somebody provide me a with a link that when I click it, I actually start watching the live stream of the actual UFC 113.

You see, the problem is that there are masses of articles being produced right now that proclaim Watch UFC 113 live stream here.

Unfortunately 99.9% of these sites – in fact, 100% of the UFC 113 live stream sites – are just all false.

WEC 48 Results: Aldo vs Faber (Fight Results, Video)

First, let me say that if you are trying to find a video of the actual fight, you will be hard pressed. YouTube has taken down every clip of the Aldo vs. Faber fight across the board.

The results of the fight, however, are easy to find and let’s get right into the Aldo vs Faber fight.

Right from the beginning, Aldo (only 23 years old) had the advantage over Faber who is obviously a great fighter. But the speed, tenacity, and powerful kicks of Aldo ended up being too much for Faber to handle after a long, 5 round battle in the cage.

Unfortunately, Aldo, and his brutal leg kicks, were just too much for Faber to handle.

Aldo chipped away at Faber’s front leg with vicious precision for three straight rounds, hobbling the former champion and sapping him of his explosive mobility. In fact, Faber’s corner man carried him to the corner at the end of the third round because Faber was so injured.

It was a calculated and patient dissection from the champion, chopping Faber down from the bottom up and then beating him up from the top down.

Finally, in the fourth round, Faber had no other choice but to pull guard and hope to somehow pull off a come-from-behind victory from his back. All that got him, however, was in the wrong side of a mounted crucifix position. Faber was able to hang on to the fifth in final round, basically, on sheer guts alone.

It was that close to being stopped.

The fifth round was a mere footnote in an otherwise lopsided fight. Aldo coasted to a dominant unanimous decision win over a very good and talented Faber. Aldo is so good that in the end he didn’t look remotely tired or even touched for that matter.

UFC 112 stage was set last night for Anderson Silva and Demian Maia to square off.

This time, the UFC plans to do things right by offering a video game that is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before!  You’ll just have to wait until the spring of 2010 to get – speculation is a release date of May 25, 2010.

Facebook Coming To PS3

There are some leaked photos (see below) hitting the web that apparently shows a Facebook platform integrated into PS3.

We’ve seen the popularity of social networking explode online, but I think it pales in comparison to what will happen when somebody figures out an amazing way to integrate video gaming and social networking.

This will be the equivalent of UFC to boxing – just 2 totally different leagues all together.
