This isn’t the first time a Disney star has had some bad media.  We all know what happened to Miley Cyrus with her recent music videos and crazy VMA performance.  I wonder if Disney will do anything about this since it’s negative media for them?

Facebook presents the results of a survey revealing the most talked about topics this year on this forum globally. These facts are disclosed by the Facebook itself after thoroughly analyzing the trends of the posts on this forum. The topics could be related to events or the personalities discussed as hot topics on Facebook. Relevant hashtags are also considered in figuring out the results. The statistics clearly show that the Pope Francis was the most popular personality discussed on Facebook in 2013.  The second most talked topic was the word “election” itself in the broader sense. Royal baby was expected to clean sweep the rankings, but it wasn’t really the case as it stood third in most attention drivers list.

Some of the most amazing entries in the famous stories are Harlem, a viral phenomenon, and Cyrus. They came at number 6 and 7 respectively as they lured many people for discussion about them.

Quite a lot of expectations were associated with Miley Cyrus and Royal Baby to be on top of the tables as esteemed topics on Facebook, but they couldn’t manage to do so. These topics have lost their charm now as people want something fresh to talk about.

Other interesting niches for example sad demise of Margaret Thatcher, Nelson Mandela, and bombings related to Boston Marathon also find key spots in top ten popular topics of the year.

The list of hot topics is markedly different for the US. It is completely overwhelmed by the Super Bowl being at the top of rankings as most popular post of the year 2013. The government shutdown also received considerable amount of attention, and stands very next to the Super Bowl on second number. Pope Francis is at number 6 here as compared to be on the top in global rankings. Royal Baby falls to number 8 in the USA rankings.

Facebook provides valuable option to the individual users for carrying out analysis of their top posts for the year.

Back on Friday, January 8th, the paparazzi were waiting anxiously at the Casa Vega restaurant in Studio City, Sherman Oaks, California. Inside was none other than Miley Cyrus herself, and this dinner was right on the heels of Miley Cyrus announcing that this would be her last season of Hannah Montana.

Miley was having dinner on this fine Friday evening with some family and friends at the Casa Vega. And where they were done and ready to leave, Miley Cyrus stepped out of the restaurant and we greeted by flashing cameras.

As you can tell in some of the photos, Miley Cyrus was not too terribly pleased with the paparazzi.

In what is her last season as Hannah Montana, the new series called Hannah Montana Forever made its debut today, July 11th, 2010.

This 4th and final season of Hannah Montana has Miley struggling with the double life she’s lead up to this point – part Miley and part Hannah Montana. And now Miley cannot decide whether or not to continue this double life, or would everything be easier if she just took the more ordinary route and stopped pretending to be someone she’s not.

Regardless, in the real world Miley Cyrus has already celebrated the Hannah Montana chapter of her life coming to close. At the end of the final shooting of the Hannah Montana Forever episode, Miley Cyrus threw a huge bash the celebrate the end of Hannah Montana.

Miley Cyrus To Perform at 2010 FIFA World Cup Final July 11th

Word on Twitter is that Miley Cyrus will be performing at the closing ceremony of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The biggest question that is circulating at the moment is what song(s) will Miley Cyrus be performing at the 2010 FIFA World Cup?

If I had to take a guess, Miley Cyrus will be performing Can’t Be Tamed single hit and perhaps even some additional songs from that album.

The recent changes in style and music from Miley Cyrus has been criticized by a lot of people. Especially the recent Miley Cyrus lap dance video that hit the web like a storm.

Regardless of what people think about Miley Cyrus, with her performing at the 2010 FIFA World Cup the buzz that is building up, and continues to buzz, around Miley Cyrus is huge.

And her performing at the World Cup will definitely draw the attention, TV coverage, sponsors, and everything else that generates massive revenue, around the soccer match.

Especially if the USA soccer team makes it to the final, and perhaps even wins the 2010 World Cup, then I believe soccer will take a new level of recognition throughout United States – and the world.

Perez Hilton may have pushed the “gossip” envelope a little bit too far this time with his controversial articles and his desire to be… well… controversial. Miley Cyrus is also very disappointed in the fact that not only did Perez Hilton post degrading photos of her, but also the timing of the photo is right when Miley Cyrus’ new album Can’t Be Tamed is about to hit the market. Miley Cyrus just wishes that the world could focus on the positive once and a while, instead of always focusing on the negative. Miley Cyrus was quoted as saying this in response to the Perez Hilton photos posted of her: “Isn’t it funny that things like that, that are so negative, have to come out right before my record?  It’s like no one can let positive things happen. All I do is focus on the positive, and I hope this record does well.” The photos themselves of Miley Cyrus, that were posted by Perez Hilton, may actually land Hilton in serious legal trouble. An attorney familiar with the matter is quoted as saying that the photos posted of Miley Cyrus go far beyond just a misdemeanor.

This video is absolutely going ballistic on YouTube (see Miley Cyrus kissing a girl video below). Miley Cyrus appeared on Britain’s Got Talent show where she performed her new single Can’t Be Tamed.

At about 1:09 in the video below, you’ll see Miley Cyrus grab one of the female dancers, whip her back, and then aggressively kiss her.

Miley Cyrus Gone Wild

This is definitely a Miley Cyrus that we are not used to seeing. I understand that Miley’s career is changing as she gets older and that she is no longer the young innocent little Hannah Montana that my kids fell in love with.

And maybe it’s just the PR, or whatever, but Miley Cyrus seems to be completely off the chain lately. What is it with her? Is she just going completely off the rebellious end in an effort to rid herself of the Hannah Montana image?

Wednesday morning seems to always be filled with anticipation on the web to find out who got voted off Dancing with the Stars? And you might actually be shocked by the results, but it was Chad Ochocinco and Dancing with the Stars partner, Cheryl Burke and failed to make it to the finals.

But with Chad and Cheryl now gone, that leaves the Dancing with the Stars finalists as Evan Lysacek, Erin Andrews, and Nicole Scherzinger.

It didn’t take very long for the announcement to come that Evan and Anna are the first couple to make it to next week’s Dancing with the Stars final. Brooke Burke, a Dancing with the Stars judge, made the announcement very early in the show.

Evan and Anna saw an unprecedented score of 59 out of 60 score from the their performance.

Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke Don’t Make It

And finally, as I mentioned at the beginning, Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke are cut from Dancing with the Stars and they will not be moving on to the finals.

Now Chad Ochocinco can start focusing on the upcoming summer camps, and finally the NFL season!

It’s been long run, and I know that my kids have definitely enjoyed it from nearly day one, but Hannah Montana just shot the very last episode.

Although it may be a moment of sadness for Hannah Montana fans, it was a moment of celebration for the Hannah Montana stars and crew.

According to PerezHilton.com, after she finished filming the final episode of Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus celebrated at a casino-themed wrap party at h.wood on Sunday.

A party insider divulged:

“There was no Liam in sight, but Will Smith stopped by the Hannah Montana wrap party to drop off his kids [Willow and Jaden]. They’re big Hannah Montana fans. At one point, Will’s hit song ‘Welcome to Miami” was played, and Willow was dancing along with Miley. It was so cute!

Miley and the rest of her cast, Emily Osment, Jason Earles and Romi Dames were celebrating with a casino-themed party. They had a congratulatory cake, sushi, hot dogs and fries, a fondu set-up by chef Mark Mittelman, a doughnut cart, sugar cookies and custom tea blends from h.wood and tea room.”

“She [Miley] had a special tea in her honor. She drank the Hannah Montana Blend, which is a blonde tea with ginger and lemon used to soothe the vocal chords. She also had the Miley Stewart Blend, which is a tea reminiscent of the sweet tea from Tennessee.

She was running around dancing like crazy, and when the DJ played [her song] ‘Party in the USA’, she was even singing to her own song as she danced through the crowd.”

One thing is for sure, when I posted the Miley Cyrus lap dance video article earlier today, it apparently opened up a whole can of worms when it comes to people’s opinions over whether this is appropriate conduct by Miley Cyrus or not.

I took the angle of the fact that my daughter became a huge fan of Miley Cyrus when she was Hannah Montana. But now, I’m not so sure how I feel about my daughter still being a fan of Miley Cyrus – which in actuality, I believe she is really still a fan of Hannah Montana.

Alright, I just want to let you know that I am a 17 year old and I think this is wrong for kids to be looking up to. Especially since she’s a “Disney Star”. Miley is just following in the footsteps of Britney and so many others right back to Kurt Russell and Annette. Disney kids do grow up. I certainly wouldn’t hold her up as a positive example for my 17-year old, but she’s “Hollywood”. Frankly, its up to her parents to judge her behavior. The bottom line is that, this very sexualized behavior will have consequences that she may really regret many years from now.

Somehow TMZ got ahold of this Miley Cyrus lap dancing video and it is obviously starting to spread like wild fire across the web. The question this raises with me – as a father of children who have virtually grown up watching sweet, innocent Hannah Montana, is this – is Miley Cyrus just completely sold out to fame and popularity, despite the roll model that she is (or was) to millions of kids all over the world?

I mean, I’m not judging her by any means and I’m certainly no saint – but wow… Miley Cyrus’ new style, new look, and new angle on entertainment has really taken a dramatic turn from I knew of her at least.

The video below shows Miley Cyrus and Adam Shankman – famed choreographer and judge on the reality show, “So you think you can Dance” – dancing in a pretty provocative way.

What do you think about this – is Miley Cyrus somebody you want your kids to be looking up to anymore?

Miley Cyrus Can’t Be Tamed Video (watch the video below)

After being premiered yesterday at 7PM est, the Miley Cyrus Can’t Be Tamed video was not available on the web until earlier today.

However, once the Can’t Be Tamed video hit the web, it didn’t take long for the viral affect to hold and the video started to spread like wildfire. Originally, the video (from my understanding anyway) was found on MTV.com, but then other sites started to pick it up.

This is definitely a step in a totally different directly for Miley Cyrus. No longer is she the Hannah Montana that everyone, including kids, came to love and adore.

According to MTV.com, in an interview with Ryan Seacrest that ran after the video’s debut, Cyrus said the video wasn’t about her new attitude, but about putting a story to the rebellious track. A museum curator introduces “a creature so rare it was believed to be extinct” to a crowd of posh attendees, announcing that “in captivity for the first time, the rarest creature on Earth, Avis Cyrus.”

Miley Cyrus is definitely leaving the Hannah Montana days far behind, and she is obviously ready to build a whole new image off the new Miley Cyrus theme!

Miley Cyrus Can’t Be Tamed Video premiered tonight on E! Online.

Although the video has yet to officially – and legally – hit the web, the premiere took place tonight.  But that left the whole world who didn’t see the premiere at 7pm EST hanging and anxious to view the video.

So instead of releasing the video, E! Online has released some still images and pictures from the video – this might be all you can get until the video starts leaking out on the web.

And I expect the leak to happen in 3… 2… 1…

But I think with the removal of her Twitter profile, there also went a huge business opportunity for her record label, and the Disney franchise.

I think that her record label, Hollywood Records, and perhaps even Disney, should probably have a strong heart to heart with Ms. Cyrus about her decision to delete her Twitter profile.

Miley had over 2.1 millions followers on Twitter, and at any given moment, could announce new singles, new record release dates, and a myriad of other relevant (and potentially profitable) information to all the Miley’s fans – literally with one 30 second update on Twitter.

I think it was a huge and costly error for her to do that, and not sure if Hollywood Records has any say in the matter, but certainly the financial / business implications of that decision should be discussed.

Just adding my opinion… that’s all.

Here’s what she said right before she deleted her Twitter profile:

“FYI Liam doesn’t have a Twitter and wants ME to delete mine with good reason.”

So who the heck is Liam – and why would he or she advise Miley on deleting her Twitter profile???

What was formally @mileycyrus – is now nothing more than a “Sorry – Page No Longer Exists” error message.

And I was just thinking yesterday how awesome it is for high profile individuals like Miley Cyrus to have such an unprecedented platform to reach out and communicate with so many people – so quickly and easily.

Oh well…

Anyway, Miley Cyrus tweeted about her love for McDonald’s yesterday and said the following:

“McDonald’s burgers are glorious! Sooo good! I just ate a burger, fries, and an ice cream cone. Getting pumped for the show!!! :)))”

Man…  I felt like running out and grabbing some Mc D’s myself!

I got to thinking about this.  With Miley Cyrus having over 2.1 million followers on Twitter, McDonald’s needs to either a) be extremely thankful to Miley for a plug like that, or b) they need to be paying her for stuff like that!

And apparently it was a “lame blogger“.  Man… what are we going to do with those blogger?

Not really sure what Miley Cyrus is refering to, or what “lame blogger” she is hammering, but here’s what she said:

“I’m the happiest I’ve ever been & for that my family’s SO grateful. So for LAME bloggers that don’t know what they’re talking about SHUT UP!”
