Looking For A Reason To Use Social Media? I Just Found 83 Of Them

So are you still asking yourself, “Why Should I Even Bother With Social Media?”

If that’s you, then I want to first encourage you because this blog post has a slide show presenting 83 pages worth of reasons as to why you should be using social media.  (see show below)

However, when I say “you should be using social media”, I think I need to define the “you” part.  Primarily because the reasons stated in the slide show below are, in my opinion, most relevant to either businesses, or people who are obsessed with becoming popular.

Just to highlight, here are some of my favorites (most compelling reasons) from the slide show:

• 3 out of 4 Americans use social networks.  WHAT?  That’s 75% of Americans!  WOW!!!!!
• 2/3 of the global population uses social media
• social sites are the 4th most popular online actively – ahead of personal email

There are many others that are freakin’ amazing stats – so just enjoy the slide show and perhaps rethink the relevance of social media in your life!
