New Archos Android Tablet Leaked

The Archos 32 Android app has been leaked by JR.com.

This will be a new generation 8 tablet powered by Android 2.1, and more than likely will get a bump to Froyo (Android 2.2) in the not too distant future. The Archos 32 will be an 8GB device starting at a price of $150 dollars.

Here are some specs on the Android 2.1 powered Archos 32 tablet:

The Archos 32 is powered by an ARM Cortex A8 processor and supports a wide-variety of video/audio formats

This is another example of a how Android is allowing manufacturers to push down the price of tablet devices, and the pricing point is making them very popular as an alternative to the $500 (plus) Apple iPad.
