There has been another oil rig explosion in the Gulf of Mexico.
12 people were reported to have fallen into the water and only 1 injury is being reported.
The explosion site is west of the site of the BP oil rig explosion that was the start of the worst oil leak in the history of the US.
The blast that just happened was reported by a commercial helicopter company at approximately 9:30am CDT Thursday.
Seven helicopters, two planes, and four boats were all in route to the explosion site which is about 80 miles south of the Vermilion Bay in the center of the Louisiana coast.
