Amy Winehouse Pictures, Photos, & Music (MP3 Downloads)

Amy Winehouse died this past Saturday of what’s believed to be a drug overdose, or perhaps even a lethal combination of cocaine, heroin, and other drugs. Amy Winehouse had a troubled past with her music career.  In fact, Amy Winehouse’s last performance was in Serbia where Winehouse showed up on stage drunk.  The fans cheered Winehouse initially, but then after a brief period lost their patience with Amy Winehouse and her drunken stumbling, so they just booed her off stage.

Amy Winehouse joins an cadre of other celebrities who’ve died at the age of 27 – Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, and others.

According to the WashingtonPost.comRon “Pigpen” McKernan of the Grateful Dead died at 27 of a gastrointestinal hemorrhage linked to alcohol abuse. Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones died in his swimming pool at 27. Chris Bell of Big Star died in a car accident. So did D. Boon of the Minutemen. Delta bluesman Robert Johnson died in 1938 under mysterious circumstances — some say he was poisoned while others cite a Faustian deal with the devil. But he was definitely 27.
