Disneyland Pays Disabled Man $8,000 – It’s a Small World Lawsuit

A disabled man was awarded $8,000 by Disneyland after he was stuck on the “It’s A Small World” ride for a half an hour.  The disabled man’s lawyer said that he did not medically stabilize for three hours after the ride broke in 2009.

Disneyland spokeswoman Suzi Brown said the Anaheim theme park believes it provided appropriate assistance during the incident, and is disappointed that the court did not fully agree.

Wow, what is this world coming to?!  It’s ridiculous how people are going after everything these days just to make money. I have no problem with reasonable lawsuits, but to me, this seems so wrong I can’t believe it.
