See Why Rosa Parks Tweet Didn’t Work Out So Well

The Republican National Committee declared the end of racism via Twitter, then changed it’s statement a few hours later after social media backlash.

The tweet along with the photo above was published: “Today we remember Rosa Parks’ bold stand and her role in ending racism.”

Shortly after they posted the tweet they changed it to: Previous tweet should have read “Today we remember Rosa Parks’ bold stand and her role in fighting to end racism.””
