The wait is now almost over for the Apple fans as the Wall Street Journal has reported that Apple may launch the much awaited MacBook Air with Retina Display. It quoted some sources who requested not to be named and said that earlier this year, the manufacturers of Apple started making 12-inch MacBook Air with improved display. These sources also say that a mass shipping of these new MacBook will start anytime in the second quarter of 2015. This is a great news for Apple fans. People have been waiting for 12-inch retina display refresh in the MacBook Air line.
Apple has given Retina display in its MacBook Pro line, which has a hefty cost. Therefore, people always wanted to get the spectacular 2,560×1,600 pixels in MacBook Air. Apple MacBook pro offers 2,560×1,600 pixels for the 13.3-inch version and 2,880×1,800 pixels for the 15-inch model. Apple touts that the Retina display gives refined pixel quality. Retina display combines the pixels in the same areas four times efficiently as compared to the normal display.
Apple MacBook Air has 1,366×768 for the 11-inch model and 1,440×900 for the 13-inch version. The latest OS X Yosemite versions are developed to support high resolution, improved viewing angle, deep black and color schemes.
Experts think that Apple will have to give Retina display in lower costs because of the increasing competition. Microsoft’s vendors are already rolling out ultra-books and laptops with high resolution display. Customers who cannot afford hefty price tags of Apple could easily get away towards Apple rivals.
