For the past year 3-time US Olympian Suzy Favor Hamilton has worked as a Las Vegas escort.
Since last December, Favor Hamilton, 44, has worked with Haley Heston’s Private Collection, an escort and call girl company. She has admitted to booking engagements in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Houston, for upwards of $600 per hour.
According to the rates on Haley Heston’s website, Favor Hamilton charged $6,000 per 24-hour period, and she worked under the name “Kelly Lundy,” though she revealed her true identity to male clients thought to be capable of keeping a secret.
She is now calling it all a “huge mistake.”
“I take full responsibility for my mistakes. I’m not the victim and I’m not going that route,” said Favor Hamilton. “I’m owning up to what I did. I would not blame anybody except myself.” She added, “Everybody in this world makes mistakes. I made a huge mistake. Huge.”
When the story hit newsstands, Favor Hamilton released a series of Tweets claiming she was “drawn to escorting in large part because it provided many coping mechanisms for me when I was going through a very challenging time with my marriage and my life.”
Favor Hamilton later described the escort business as “exciting,” something that broke her from the normal life she had been living for so long. The 3-time US Olympian also admits her husband knew she worked as an escort, saying that, “He tried, he tried to get me to stop. He wasn’t supportive of this at all.”
Favor Hamilton suspects her escort cover was blown after a specific client went to a report. “He totally broke all the rules by outing me,” she said.
The 3-time US Olympian claims she had been planning to quit the Vegas escort gig, even before the story came to light. Now, she just wants to “make amends and get back to being a good mother, wife, daughter, and friend.”
