Did you know that the SEC (The Securities and Exchange Commission) was on Twitter?
Visit the SEC Twitter page, and they operate under the name of @sec_investor_ed
They appear to be using Twitter as a news release tool, and also an update system for the public. All of the updates are showing from “web” which means they have someone sitting at the SEC actually writing out the tweets, as opposed to a computer bot sending out updates.
And since it’s a real person, that person probably would interact with people posting comments. So if you ever wanted to get into a dialogue with the SEC, now’s your chance.
