Here Comes The iPad Black Market

Here Comes The iPad Black Market

Since Apple launched the iPad on April 3rd, 2010, it is reported that over 500,000 iPads have been sold in the United States.

Apple announced this week that due to unforeseen demand in the US, there is now a shortage of iPads in inventory. And as a result of this shortage, Apple is having to delay the shipment of international order until at least May 3rd – and maybe even until the end of May.

So what this means is that with the exception of the United States, the entire world is having to bite the bullet and wait for Apple to resupply their inventory of iPads.

OR…..

International customers can pay whatever is being asked from a seller who has an iPad and lives here in the United States.

So let me ask you this – is this not a recipe for a black market or what?

If someone here in the United States can get their hands on extra iPads, then all they need to do is through them up on Ebay and start selling them for, well… really whatever they want to sell them for.
