I just wrote about Google announcing a new design layout for Google Docs. And I wanted to follow up with a quick tutorial on how you can actually start using the new Google Docs right now – no need waiting on Google to officially roll it out right?
Getting the new Google Docs
Launching the new Google Docs right now is actually pretty easy.
1) Go to Google Docs (make sure you are logged in to Google)
2) Click the gear icon in top right (next to your name)
3) in the drop down menu, click “Try New Look”
And that’s it – 3 easy steps to trying out the new Google Docs.
