A huge Mall of America brawl broke out; the largest retail complex in the United States. At least nine people were arrested after a series of fights including chairs and fists flying. After Christmas shoppers scattered and left the mall after the fights broke out.
Witnesses described the scene that took place:
“There were drinks thrown on the floor and chairs being thrown everywhere,” witness Tess Dessalgne told television station KARE. She reported that “everyone started running toward the fight,” while the video showed others leaving the area.
The Mall of America Riots could have happened after rappers Lil’ Wayne and Drake were visiting the mall.
