The blog momsword.org had an article today that made it seem like this was somehow a shocking revelation that someone would actually be making this kind of money from Twitter. And that while some people are losing jobs and struggling financially, others are making $10,000 by promoting products via Twitter.
Wait a minute… I think a very big point is being missed here!
Kim Kardashian can’t be put in the same group – not even the same ballbark – as everyone else. After all, she has over 2.7 million followers on Twitter – 2,728,086 as of this article to be exact.
So for all of those people who are out of work, or upset, or otherwise taken back by Kim Kardashian making $10,000 for promoting products in her Twitter stream need to get the right perspective here. Companies are going to pay big money to get their products in front of as many people as they can, in the most effective and efficient way possible. And when someone like Kim Kardashian has over 2.7 million Twitter followers, this makes for a very fertile marketing platform.
If you want to make $10,000 from Twitter all you have to do is get millions of followers!
