Those are the additions that Sara Lee Foodservice has included in its already impressive list of Bistro Collection Individual Desserts. In 2009 Sara Lee hit the market with Key Lime Pie, Classic Cheesecake, Peanut Butter Pie, Hot Fudge Chocolate, Pineapple Upside Down Cake and Carrot Filled Cake.
The company says that they decided to make the desserts available because of a consumer demand for “upscale dessert options and smaller portion sizes.”
Sara Lee stated that the Bistro Collection Individual Desserts “offer rich indulgent decadence at a price you will love.” Because of their size they are perfect for coffee/dessert pairings. “It’s affordable indulgence,” says the company.
