Up yesterday, the United States has held the #1 position for total medals won during the 2010 Winter Olympics.
However, yesterday afternoon things changed. Germany picked up the #1 seat for the country to have the most medals, knocking the United States down to #2.
Tonight, however, could easily put the United States back in the #1 position for total medals. There are 3 big events that will play out tonight – women’s downhill skiing, snowboard half-pipe, and speed skating. All 3 of which has someone from the United States as the favorite.
And with Germany having only 1 more medal than the United States, we (the US) could quickly get back on top tonight. It will be exciting to watch!
