AT&T announced the Samsung Captivate today; this will be AT&T’s version of the Samsung Galaxy S. The Samsung Captivate will have a 4-inch Super AMOLED touch screen, a 1 GHz Cortex A8 processor, access to the Android Market, Android 2.1, a 5.0 MP camera with HD video recording, a 16 GB internal memory expandable to 32 GB via microSD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and HSPA compatible. The Samsung Captivate will feature a 3D graphics engine & a six-axis motion sensor. And the handset will include Google’s integrated applications.The Samsung Galaxy S is expected to be available for all four US cell providers.
