The day is coming when tablet devices like the iPad will dominate the world. The portability of the device is already making the iPad as popular as Apple’s iMac computer. And with the onslaught of mobile phone carriers pushing for more mobile web access “in more places”, I believe the day is quickly approaching when data access will be ubiquitous – meaning, web access in all places at all times. The iPad, and other tablet devices, make the ubiquitous web more accessible through it’s powerful apps. And again, the portability of tablets make them a must have over even the smallest laptop. Again, the day is quickly approaching with tablets (iPads, Android tablets, etc…) are going to be the device of choice, perhaps even above and beyond a simple cell phone.
