You probably could’ve guessed that someone, somewhere out there, would be crunching the data and analyzing the trends of emotions as it relates to Facebook updates.
Not something the average person thinks about to be sure, but certainly something that Facebook is interested in tracking, especially for commercial (targeted advertising) use.
Stats show that during the morning hours, Facebook status updates use more positive emotional words. And as the day progresses, the words used in Facebook status updates become increasingly negative.
Now why that is, no one is sure.
