A lot of people have been contacting me for help with setting up their iFrame tab on their Facebook fan page.
One of the biggest issues I’ve seen so far is that people are accounted for the width parameter of the iFrame tab.
The iFrame tab for Facebook fan page’s has width of 520px.
If you exceed this width, then one of two results will likely occur:
- Your iFrame tab will open in a completely new window – which most people don’t desire because it takes the visitor away from the Facebook page itself.
- You’ll end up with a scroll bar that can be quite annoying
So resolve both of the issues above, and ensuring that your iFrame tab for your Facebook Fan Page integrates smoothly, build your app with a 520px width.
