Evander Holyfield at 47-years old knocked out 41-year-old Frans Botha with 2:05 left in the eighth round Saturday night. This was truly a fight for the ages (no pun intended…).
There were only 3,127 people at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas and the majority of the people in attendance came to cheer on Evander Holyfield.
This was the first fight for Evander Holyfield since losing to Nikolay Valuev on Dec. 20, 2008
