Erica Blasberg, in her 6th LPGA season, was found dead at her home in Henderson, Nevada Sunday, May 9, 2010, according to local police. In an interview with a local newspaper, her father, Mel Blasberg, is quoted as saying, ““At first glance it looks like she might have taken her own life, but at second glance, something is very, very strange about it. We’re waiting for the police to make an investigation.”
Blasberg was a two time All-American golfer at the University of Arizona, and finished in the top 10 in 2008.
