Today, NFL personnel executives and coaches showed up at The Swamp to give Tim Tebow a Pro Day workout. Ron Washington Test Positive for Cocaine
Texas Rangers manager Ron Washington apologized Wednesday for using cocaine and testing positive during the 2009 season.
“I had a very weak moment,” Washington said during a news conference Wednesday. “I did wrong and I take responsibility for that and I’m sorry.” Washington said it was “the one and only time” he used cocaine.

This time of year, everyone is anxiously searching for Dick Vitale’s bracket picks for the NCAA basketball champion. I wrote previously about Dick Vitale’s bracket picks for 2010 that showed a breakdown of how he sees the tournament unfolding. But now watch the ESPN video that shows:

Ovechkin Hit on Campbell
Washington Capitals star Alex Ovechkin was suspended by the NHL for two games, without pay, as punishment for his hit on Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Brian Campbell in the first period of Sunday’s 4-3 overtime win.

Dick Vitale has made his predictions for the 2010 NCAA college basketball championship. As ESPN is reporting, Vitale wasn’t surprised to see Kansas, Kentucky, Syracuse and Duke get the four number one seeds. Nor was it shocking when the Big East and Big 12 earned eight and seven bids, respectively.

Peyton Hillis Traded for Brady Quinn
The Denver Broncos acquired quarterback Brady Quinn from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for full back Peyton Hillis.
Brady Quinn finds himself immediately competing for the starting quarterback position at Denver, going up against Kyle Orton. Orton started off strong last season, but ended on a dismal note.

Joe Nathan Out for the season:
Joe Nathan is suffering from a “significant tear” in his right elbow’s UCL, according o the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. Joe Christensen of the same paper has since tweeted that the injury may require Tommy John surgery, which would end the Twins closer’s season before it ever began.
