Joe Nathan is suffering from a “significant tear” in his right elbow’s UCL, according o the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.  Joe Christensen of the same paper has since tweeted that the injury may require Tommy John surgery, which would end the Twins closer’s season before it ever began.

Taylor Mays 40 Time at 2010 NFL Combine {VIDEO}

There was some controversy at the 2010 NFL combine when USC’s Taylor Mays ran his 40 yard dash in 4.24-seconds this morning. Officials were ready to log a record-tying time in the famous sprint. That all changed when result was officially adjusted to 4.43 seconds.

Google Olympic Logo – The Closing Ceremony

Today is February 28th, 2010 and it marks the 16th day of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.  The Closing Ceremony is scheduled today and Google is celebrating the event with what will more than likely be the final Google Olympic logo of the 2010 Winter Games.

Kim Yu Na Gold Medal, World Record Performance {YouTube Video}

For some reason this video has made it to YouTube and has been viewable since February 24th.  This is very uncommon since the IOC has been very aggressive taking down all Olympic related videos from YouTube.

South Korean figure skating Kim Yuna has won the gold medal at Vancouver 2010, while simultaneously setting a new world record with a score of 228.56 points.  There will not be a throne luxurious enough for her in South Korea, where they already call her “Queen Yuna”.

Joannie Rochette emotional short program performance

Two days after the death of her mother, Joannie Rochette sits in third after a very emotional short program.  As most of the world knows, 24 year old olympic skater Joannie Rochette lost her mother to a heart attack on Sunday night in Vancouver.  Following such a difficult lost, the skater took to the ice on last night to compete in the womens figure skating competition.
